Sinclarity originally formed in 2001 right out of high school. The band went on to release an EP for trendsetting indies Tribunal Records and Lifeforce Records, release an album on the legendary
Megaforce Records, record with famed producer David Bendeth and tour the world with some of the biggest bands. Unfortunately the original band imploded during this time leaving members scattered and picking up the pieces.
This didn’t faze Holmes who is the driving force behind the band and with a new line in place; he picked up the pieces and continued forging forward.
The new band is currently finalizing the debut album, which is yet to be titled.
The debut single from that upcoming album is ‘Wake Up’, a huge rock song with lighter shades of Holmes voice, catchy guitars riffs and pounding drums.
Sinclarity recently had the opportunity to work
with award-winning filmmaker Dave Rodriguez. After including several of Sinclarity's as yet unreleased tracks in his feature film "American Bully", Rodriguez offered to do a video for the track “Wake Up” as he was so impressed with the band.
Filmed on a rooftop in Brooklyn, the video
captures the live intensity of Sinclarity with a stunning view of the New York skyline as a backdrop. With a finished video and album in hand, 2012 looks to be the start of a new dream for Sinclarity. |
