S.I.L.K. are comprised of 4 of the hottest female singers and dancers around, they are currently in the studio recording the vocals on there debut album. The album was commissioned and written especially for the group in Europe by The Bomfunk MCs as a special favour to there long term friend and international tour promoter Paul Marshall who toured the band to New Zealand in 2005. The Bomfunk MCs who had a massive number one hit with the song “Freestyler” went onto sell over 8 million records worldwide.

Paul is also set to remix S.I.L.K.’s recordings in LA with the help of Simon Phillips, who Paul toured to New Zealand in February 08 as Simon Phillips was playing in his long term band Toto. Simon is one of the worlds top sessions drummers and has played in bands like The Who, Tears For Fears, Peter Gabriel, Mick Jagger and Christina Aguilera, just to name a few.

S.I.L.K.’s debut single “Hypnotic” is due for worldwide release in May 09. The group is also destined to support some major international artists who are touring New Zealand later this year.
