 About Paul

Paul Marshall founded DO-IT Management Ltd in April 2002. Paul has an extensive history of success and excellence in the music industry. Not only has he performed internationally as an artist, but he is also well known for being an entrepreneur.

  • Professional drummer and manager since the age of 12. Paul's first band Witch Hazel came runner up in a UK music competition. The winning title led the band to be offered their first record deal. At this point, Paul was age 14.
  • Among the many bands he performed with in the UK, was the band “Obsession.” He was with them for four years. During this time they released two albums in the UK, toured extensively, and completed numerous music videos.
  • Played as a “session musician” in the UK with: The Virtue Chorus, Hiphoperation, Orange, EMF and The Cure, as well as others.
  • Performed live, airing on “Radio One” in the UK.
  • Appeared on MTV in the UK to an audience of over 20million viewers.
  • Owner operator of EPC UK LTD (Electronic Picture Company) video production company formed with a business partner, worked on films and primarily pop rock videos.
  • Drummer and manager of New Zealand rock band Hangar 18. Managed the release of their album Grey Area. International tours followed with Silverchair (Philippines), No Doubt (NZ), Collective Soul (NZ), Ocean Colour Scene (Hong Kong) and the Unity Hand Over Festival (Hong Kong).
  • Performed on Channel V in Hong Kong to an audience of 280 million viewers.
  • Extensively toured UK, Europe, NZ, Hong Kong, Philippines.
  • Released albums in UK, NZ, HK, Australia, Philippines.
  • Gained personal endorsement from Tama Drums.
  • Attended MIDEM three years running. Established contacts for Asian region including Channel V, MTV, Major record labels, publishing companies and key radio stations.
  • MIDEM training program / seminars on music management, touring, publishing, record labels, negotiating record deals and contracts, accounting, financing, and sponsorship.
  • Established a network of contacts in USA, UK, Hong Kong, Asia and Australia.
  • Gained sponsorship from amongst others Peavey Amps, Ibanez Guitars, Cathay Pacific Airlines, Vans shoes, Hallensteins Clothing, Independent Liquor and Kiwi Experience.
